and its only £12!

here is the one ive got (and am wearing now) but they had it in khaki (online) and black (instore)

it is fab. really flattering shape, not too flouncy like most maxi dresses and the perfect length. I am 5'1" and a size 8 with generous norks and slim waist (but biggish bum).

I have black and khaki dresses just like those from new look. They are great for little people. I wear mine with bangles, a denim jacket and glads. mine were only about £12 too...bargain

I've got this one:

www.wallis.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag&catalogId=20551&s toreId=12557&categoryId=183995&parentcategoryrn=140428&productId=1654210&langId=-1

I am a short arse and it is a bit long, but will take it up no worries and have a purple cardi and chunky purple beads to wear with it

Skims over my post baby tummy a treat!

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 16/06/2010 20:57

i like that. i prefer the plainer dresses. they are just more versatile.

Black is more slimming too!

SagacityNell · 16/06/2010 21:04

I don't like the plain-ness of those vest type ones. And the other is more than i would pay for something i would wear maximum 5 times a year.

But they are all closer to a dress for me than the ones i have seen! Why does everyone thingk i want little flowers or paisley or HUGE bright print?!

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 16/06/2010 21:09

exactly nell. the beauty of the plain vest style dresses is the fact that you can funk them up with shoes/jewellary etc. all the patterned dresses just make me look shorter than i am and twice the size!

BustleInYourHedgerow · 16/06/2010 22:12
