stupid buggering rubbish boobs.

After having 2 babies and breastfeeding my boobs are knackered.

I have had them measured in loads of different places they always come up with the same size 32c/34b. Depending on style of bra.

But my boobs look nothing like a C or even a B cup. Most of my breast tissue is under my armpits I have no plumpness left above my nipple.

They are hideous

Desperate to find nice bras that fit properly.

I need padded cups specifically with lots of padding to the side.

I have bought a fair few new bras recently and they just never seem to fit right.

Please help me find some nice bras.

have you tried bravissimo?

Celery · 16/06/2010 20:58

I have boobs like this - two tennis balls in socks. Lots of stretched empty skin at the top. I'm a 32DD, but where as they used to be full and round and pert, they are now long and saggy ( sob ). I hate them and would dearly love surgery.

I bought myself a corset last year, which was supposed to lift them up and excentuate their shape. Instead, it just excentuated the fact that the top half of them is just empty skin. They kind of looked concaved when I wore it ( sob again ).

So I went on a mission to find a bra to suit. Eventually I came across the Panache super bra ( tshirt variety ), and now I wear nothing else. It's a full cupped padded bra. About £25, but often cheaper on eBay.

The best options will probably be either a stretchy fuller style like this (which you would need in a 32B) or a balcony- think twin eggs in eggcups like this as regards cup shape, and not too low in the centre front. If the straps are set to the side, they help to lift your boobs centrally rather than having padding which tips them down towards the centre of the bra IYSWIM. It takes a lot of patience to get the perfect bra but it will be worth the effort
Where I work specialises in D+ but the Lepel one (not the padded/plunge version) is one we sometimes stock and works well for the shape you're describing.

celery, you are my boob twin
I went bra shopping today which is always a depressing task, but Debenhams had some great ones. I really really recommend this wonderbra Ignore the fact that it's a wonderbra, it gives fantastic shape, and most crucially, my boobs don't spill out of it. I didn't even realise there was any gel in it, it is that lightweight. I think I am going to go back for another tomorrow as it's amazingly comfortable and doesn't show under a t shirt.

marriednotdead · 16/06/2010 21:16

Celery, your bra sounds like this one which is brilliant, especially for soft boobs- I've got two . As it comes up small in the cup, a 32D might be worth a try OP.

marriednotdead · 16/06/2010 21:42

Oops, sounds ambiguous. I have two bras (and two soft boobs)

JamInMyWellies · 16/06/2010 21:49

Am off to check out those links.

Marriednotdead, yes that's the one. I have six of them, in various different colours

dawntigga · 17/06/2010 07:18

JamInMyWellies I make bras and no, you aren't the only person who has flesh underneath, it's quite common. Can I suggest you find somebody local to you who will make you a bra from scratch? Or, if you have a bra that fits now who will make a pattern from it and make you new ones from that? It isn't cheap but they will be the BEST fitting bra's you have ever had!

If you can't afford to have a bra made (they aren't cheap!) then try on loads and loads of them. Find one that works and buy several. Bravissimo in my experience are v good at getting your bra size right and if you are in London Rigby and Peller are the rolls royce of bra fitting.

I would definitely go to Bravissimo (St Margarets st nr Oxford circus)also, before you trek all the way to Rigby and Peller.
(R&P have a small shop in Brent Cross too.)

I love Selfridges for the selection and availability of sizes but think the help there is rubbish.
