Help!
Im' going to Wimbledon on a girly jolly, but have no idea what to wear? is there a dress code? what do most people wear? any ideas greatly received...slight problem is my size 9 feet which mean I will be wearing silver pumps or those pink funky shoes from clarks (footwear has dictated my wardrobe throughout my life )

pagwatch - that dress is lovely, the print is beautiful and i am normally not a print person. i am tempted by sale price. can you tell me, is it a scoop neck or more of a crew neck? thanks

I once had a freebie vip ticket I was given it in the morning of the day the ticket was for. It was ace, never mind that I was a student and didnt have a clue about the rules. (the lady sat next to me explained them after ascertaining that I really did have a valid ticket)

One of my favourite days ever.

I dunno what I wore I only had studenty clothes.

Kristina
it is not straight across atthe next, because the neckline is gently draped it does dip into a slight scoop.
I couldn't wear anything that slashed straight across.
The v at the back is very pretty and it nips you in atthe waist and then flares into a full circle, fully lined skirt. Very swishy

oh good, i cant wear high necks due to massive norks . are Little London sizes big or small? will i need to size up to acccommodate aforementioned norks?

dress sounds lovely, i am making an effort to be a bit more swishy and a bit less jeans and t shirt kinda gal. but tis a major effort. if it wasn't for mumsnet i would live in jeans, trainers and sweatshirts

I think they are generally true to size as
I am usually a ten to tweleve on top and tweleve to fourteen around hips.
I got the tweleve and it fits perfectly

But I can't be very helpful about how it would fit massive norks as I am completely flat chested.

You could phone them and talk to the staff who are great and 'proper' boutique staff as in they really know their stock. I buy quite a bit there and they always know what they are talking about.
Give them a buzz

Dh is there today being schmoozed - they had to wear suits!

We are going to the ladies' final day and I was just going to wear jeans and layery tops (unless it is scorchio in which case cooler trousers) so that I could take off/put on according to the weather.
