disc belts on large ladies

KemalsStilletto · 12/08/2005 10:37

I have acquired 2 disc belts one in black and one in brown. I was wondering if they look stupid on large ladies worn over a knee-length denim skirt and black vest top?

Are you talking size 16 or size 32, or somewhere in between?

I think they enhance the roundness on some folks.

As a larger lady (16/18) I believe they can slim you - I wear mine with as big a V shape pointing down as I can and I THINK it elongates me and draws attention away from my fat tum !! I stand to be corrected and deeply embasrassed !!

Are you a size 20 because of your hips, or a size 20 because of your tummy? If it's hips, I would sayy don't do it.

I think they can drag the eye away from a big tum if you wear the slung low on the hips
