Festival alternative to flip flops?

So if it's dry and sunny what the heck do I stick on my feet?!

I'm wearing mainly; shorts, skirts, dresses and may have bought 1 play suit. I'm 26 don't judge me! .

So? I was thinking like doc martin boots to keep it funky but then that means having to carry 2 pairs of boots! Is it a case of boring converse/daps?

I would have loved my doc martins (dating from university!) at the festival we went to last year.

I didn't even pack my wellies so just wrecked a pair of trainers.

Wear something you are prepared to wreck.

I'm not worried about wrecking anything - the question is just what sort of footwear do I wreck?!?!?!

Boots too big to pack and carry

Fit Flops to frail and liable to get dirty feet and broken toes

Converse and other trainers so boring and not very nice with skirts etc

In an ideal word I'd wear a wedge heal, but that aint going to work is it!

There must be another option?!!?!?

Crappy old trainers are the way to go!

navyeyelasH · 13/06/2010 19:57

I thought that would be the answer! I know it's a festival and no-one cares what you look like but I hate the trainers and dress look, grr!

Am I insane to even consider these crocs?

Completely insane, they're vile. I would wear these plimsolls

navyeyelasH · 13/06/2010 20:06

mmm plimsolls could be good but the soles always wear out so fast! I think I might get to primark and but some plain white ones. Still boring though!

I wear wellies even if its blzing hot. mt naked feet and any permable shoes are going nowhere near the slurry that is the mud at festivals, or on the toilet florrs...bleurgh. I usually wear a very short skirt and wellies. Bear in mind that if your festival is in a field wellies stop you getting ticks.
