flattering styles advice sought:

i'm wondering if anyone has any advice to offer on what shirts are most flattering for one who has ample (more ample than ample!) bosom.
also, what style/cut of jeans look best/most flattering (if thats really possible) for my lovely still wide childbearing hips?
thanks ladies!!

For big boobs, nothing that comes up too high (polo necks are out) - more scoopy/v-necks. Also no breast pockets on shirts., if you do find a cut that doesn't have gape-y buttons. Trinny and Susannah reckon wrap tops (like a ballerina) but never worked for me, just made them look more enormous. I think that fitting rather than baggy is good.

Wrap tops are lovely but always gape open-what are you supposed to wear underneath-a nice vest?

shirts not that good unless fitted, as "spare" fabric can make your waist non-existent

With my 36GG hoo-hars and size 12 body I have found the most flattering combo to be a minimiser bra, a tight black vest, a fitted shirt with bottom 2 buttons done up, rest left open and bootcut jeans.
Looking forward to some surgery one day!

same here sassy, well 36DD so respect to you in the bosom department, but I hate having to buy a 16 top to get my norks in it and then have a tent round my waist.
I am hoping shirt-waister dresses will come back in style
