I can't believe it. The ONE place I can find good-quality clothes for my two little girls that don't have loads of slogans, aren't all pink and have a nice, old-fashioned feel is CLOSING DOWN!!

Fellow mini-moders - where will you shop now? I need ideas fast!

I thought it was just Boots' brand of clothes, like Tu at Sainsburys Shame if it does disappear altogether though, DD has had some nice things from MiniMode.

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 12:53

yeah but MOthercare prices can be a bit ridiculous and to be honest MOthercare stuff not nearly as good as it used to be. Mini Mode much nicer I think so hope it stays the same

Do not panic Boots are opening a whole new clothing department at beginning of September to all you die hard mini moders

HelenLou · 22/07/2010 18:44

Yep, apparently Mothercare is taking over the children's clothing in Boots stores. Just hope they are better quality and more tasteful than the tat they sell in their own stores. I only discovered Minimode in earnest with my second child but have found you can't beat them for quality and design. I will really miss them

domesticslattern · 22/07/2010 19:24

Mothercare clothes are total tat.

nearly30 · 27/07/2010 14:01

Yes, and will the new Boots/Mothercare collaboration be available online? Only available in Boots stores is no good to me, as I live in the middle of nowhere...

Hopefully it will be less tacky than Mothercare too.

sale starts tommorow on all stock! apparently mostly 50% off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CreepyFunbags · 06/08/2010 16:28

Oh no! I love mini mode, what a shame.

cyteen · 06/08/2010 16:36

Boo, just seen this - I love their stuff for DS, got him a lovely shirt and linen trousers combo just last week. I can't imagine that a Mothercare range will be anywhere near as good.

RBunny · 09/08/2010 07:31

Currently I am selling a Mini Mode boys sun safe top on e-bay, brand new with tags, age 3 - 4 yrs. Search 'Mini Mode sun safe top'. I will be putting other boys clothes on there over the coming months.

katryn4 · 16/02/2011 19:39

They have teamed up with Adams i was looking for a top on line that i had seen in boots store and cant get to see it on line there's a limited range i can only see :(

joymaker · 05/07/2011 22:30

How does everyone feel about the new range that is being offered at Boots then? I must say I only used to buy DS's socks from the mini mode range and loved them- the colours and the quality were great (was totally unaware of the closure and hence didn't stock up Sad. I think the quality of Mini Club socks are not as good at all.

pregnantish · 29/07/2011 13:52

Gutted! I had some gorgeous purple babygros for dd from Mini Mode -the fit was perfect for her. I hate all the pink glitter & slogans.

I actually quite like the Ladybird online stuff but the quality isn't as good as it used to be. I just googled and found this Pretty But Not Pink site, which has some nice stuff - it's a mix of lots of brands though - no one shop that really stands out.

sam251 · 10/10/2011 19:38

Mini Mode has now changed to Mini Club and is still in Boots stores as far as Im aware
