Need to go buy something a bit more for dd than the crop top she has atm - any recommendations?

M&S - the teen range is called Angel I think..
John Lewis too is good

The prob we found was that a lot of them are padded which the girls like because you can't see any outline of their nipplage ( new word, I've just made it up) which is how they like it, especially through school shirts. It does seem odd buying padded bras for younger girls

Both the above do bras that aren't padded as well though.

I'd noticed reference to padded bras and I couldn't see why. I do feel very reluctant to start off on that sort of thing.

Oh - isn't this mothering thing hard?

When girls get breast buds the nipple really does pop out, and I know that our DD was quite self conscious to begin with. Padded bras do make that less noticeable, also DD says they are much more comfortable and soft when they are padded.

She is maybe on the next stage, she had the buds and now is a little bigger than that, but really not much. She has some bras of each type, but the padded ones do make her look bigger than she is, but that isn't why she wears them IYSIM.

I so agree on mothering being hard, I just want so badly to get it right !

Comfort is important - her chest area is quite tender atm, poor mite. Ok - i will look with different eyes on the padded ones

We got some at Peacocks and DD likes them.

Primark surprisingly good quality.

Successful trip to M&S today - dd very happy. I'll look out for Primark and Peacocks next time I'm near them.
