I want to lighten my dark brown hair at home, nothing drastic, but I want to try and get it back to a lighter chestnut sort of brown, which is my natural colour. I haven't had my hair dyed for nearly a year now, but my hair has gone really dark. Thankfully I have no greys yet, but I just want to get my hair a lighter colour as I feel its dragging my complexion down a bit. I was looking at L'Oreal in the shop the other day and there are three colours I could choose from, but I don't want to waste my money if anyone can tell me if its rubbish or not. I suppose I should go to a salon, but I am bit fed up with hairdressers at the mo.
