Removing acrylic nails - help please!

I have a set of acrylic nails on that have past their best really, and I want to reomove them but really, really don't have time to sit in the salon for 2 hours and get them taken off.

Can I do it at home myself? Or do I really have to go in and have it done professionally?

You can take them off yourself.

Fill a small bowl with nail polish remover and soak them. It will take a really long time but they will come off.

The nail polish remover must contain acetone for this to work and the nails will start to lift off - at this point DO NOT be tempted to pull them off the rest of the way! If you do, you will really damage your nails. Just be patient and wait until all the glue is dissolved.
