Please can someone recommend a facial creme that would stop freckles becoming worse or coming out at all ?

Not sure what it would do about freckles, but I use clinique city block and it is spf40, plus generally a very nice skin primer too.

Used City Block for years and it's good- works as a primer too. I use it daily.
Dr Sebagh also do one which might be spf 30 or possibly 60- not sure.

Do you put it on over moisturiser? I am looking for something as well but have oily skin so don't want to end up with make up sliding off me and breakouts everywhere.

kerstina · 10/06/2010 12:00

I have just ordered some city block from debenhams i believe it is a moisturiser with a sun screen so would not need moisturiser underneath. I would just wear make up on top.

I really like Kiehl's, I have the SPF50 (redhead) wore it every day for a fortnight in Australia and not only did I not get burnt, but my freckles didn't 'come out', and my skin didn't get clogged either.

I'm becoming a bit of a Kiehl's groupie now

Jewelsandgems · 16/06/2010 08:11

kerstina thankyou for that lovely compliment

Patsy99 · 16/06/2010 11:19

Angelene - did you find the Kiehl's greasy?

So far this year I've bought the Clinique city block, Piz Buin Spf50 for face and No7 Spf 50 for face and all 3 have left me looking unappealingly shiny. I need something mat that I can wear day-to-day not just on the beach. What did you think?

featherblue · 16/06/2010 17:28

Hi Patsy,

I have oily skin, too, and I love MAC spf 50 Prep & Prime.

It makes my skin feel really good and it's never greasy.

Patsy99 · 24/06/2010 13:02

Feather - just seen this. It looks ideal, thanks for the suggestion.

clarins makes a great sunblock spf 40.
