I always wait until it's too late and then when I do decide all the best stuff has gone.

What would you buy?
I am thinking of the wool jersey dress in grey or purple, the jersey tea dress or the floaty floral dress- choose 1.
And the merino cardi with a ribbon trim.

Possibly the leather plimsolls.

Possibly some long sleeved Ts such as the knotted front ones.

purplepeony · 09/06/2010 19:04

Purplepeony - I am going to order early too as I always find the sizes are gone so quickly. Had a quick look last night and put these in my shopping bag for later:

Wrap jersey cardigan (in the purple and pink but also like the 2 stripey ones!!)
The long wrap cardi
Purple tunic (cant think of name)
Merino cardi with ribbon trim in teal, I love cardis!!
A couple of the henleys, indispensable for Winter wear
1/2 of the knotted front tops (will that knot stay in shape?

I possibly also might go with the colourblock dress or the audrey dress, not sure though if the colourblock dress is a bit shapeless or not! I wasn't terribly impressed with the dresses in general, as have returned much more over the years than I have kept.
Don't know if its just me , but I really love Autumm/Winter wear, something terribly comforting about it, winter nights in front of the fire etc etc!

bluecardi · 10/06/2010 09:55

Shame the skirts are all short - they need to make some long ones with the same patterns as the short style

Is it that time already? I've only just received my Amalfi dress. Nice stuff on there, where's my credit card.

HalfTermHero · 10/06/2010 14:47

This season Boden stuff was mostly shit and much nicer summer wear available from the high street. Johnny has redeemed himself though. A fair bit of very tempting stuff available for next season. I am putting in a decent sized order.

purplepeony · 10/06/2010 16:26

Hmmmmmm.
I am tempted by the velvet peacoat as short of jackets.

Wrap chic cardi
ribbon trim cardi?
knot front tops

Choose 1 of these dresses:
jersey wool dress but might be too long- depends if it shortens okay

floaty printed dress
jersey tea dress

possibly some jeans though will be too long

I've just bought this dress from the current range. Only got 10% discount off. But last week when they were doing the 20% discount, they didn't have it in my size, now they do

MagalyZz · 10/06/2010 20:36

now it's gone again. i must have ordered the last 12. I hope it's not a return....

purplepeony · 10/06/2010 20:47

oh dear I am up to £429 already without discount.

This is due to ordering at least double what I intend to keep and ordering 2 sizes at times; blinking preview- no garment measurements- not for all items anyway.

Is the Carnaby coat mumsy- is it like something you used to buy at Littewoods?

I need help- do I go for the peacoat or the biker jacket? Always tempted by cute coats and jackets but when it turns cold I just want to be wrapped in a duvet........

OP posts:
Belle03 · 10/06/2010 21:31

Is there a discount code to put in? It didn't give me any discount automatically!!

purplepeony · 10/06/2010 21:58

There's one on the other Boden preview thread- something like P7....

OP posts:
MagalyZz · 11/06/2010 09:03

I like that carnaby coat. I hate the way Boden coats usually have massive buttons that don't match! what is with that?? so goofy and childish looking. But the Carnaby coat, the buttons match the coat!

MagalyZz · 11/06/2010 09:05

Yes PurplePeony, they really need to include a bit of blurb to tell you how warm the coat is! I'm guessing they're all fine and until the mid -late november, but you'll need your duvet for dec&jan and first half of feb.

It doesnt mater how nice a coat I have, I always end up wearing the long duvet coat for 10 weeks.

fishie · 11/06/2010 09:52

i got the boiled wool job last year and found it warm enough even for teh snows. but am softy southern commuter. i like this dress am sucker for needlecord.

MrsSeanBean · 11/06/2010 14:13

The code for 20% preview discount is PR7V

I like the casual cord dress, sixties skirt, Islington coat (in green), also the long velvet coat and err.... quite a few other things - too many to bore you all with probably.

The jersey tea dress sounds practical [turning into my mother emoticon].

fishie · 11/06/2010 15:35

what colour cord dress mrss? i'm thinking mouse, maybe with dark purple leggings when it gets colder. don't understand why one pic shows purple and other bright blue.

i really like the idea of having a mouse dress actually. it is making me smile.

MrsSeanBean · 11/06/2010 15:39

Fishie, I'm dreadfully torn and have all but purple in my fantasy basket at present. I think I would wear the green most, as the mouse looks quite pale, although it would be a useful neural colour . But I also like the idea of the denim dress. The other (printed) cord dress is also tempting, but since I am up to at least £400 I need to start culling!

MrsSeanBean · 11/06/2010 15:40

Other (printed) cord dress

fishie · 11/06/2010 15:50

i've got last year's version of printy, it is a bit big. i am very wary of their patterns.

BodenBoy · 11/06/2010 15:51

20% discount code is PR7V...I didnt even know that, and to think i've been asking all my collegues at Boden what the code is so i can tell you lovely people what it is.
