Make-up bag overhaul HELP PLEASE!

I've got a mascara I love (that Loreal one that uses Penelope Cruz with fake lashes to advertise ), but need recommendations for:

Foundation - have been relying on cheapo ones for years but in my early 30s now and need something better. Is Chanel Vitalumiere all it's cracked to be? I have dry/combination skin (greasy-ish nose and chin sometimes, but mainly very dry).

any other 'face stuff' I should know about - primers, blush etc?

A new bronzer. Really gone off my Naars one.

New lip colour - have been using a natural pink lip pencil and gloss for years but want to update my look - needs to be natural look, so thinking pinky colours rather then fire engine red.

A good starter eye shadow pallet that i can experiment with - am determined to get eye shadow right!

I am 33, pale, slightly olive skin, blue eyes and dark hair

hi nankid! all my makeup is cheapish, as i can't afford anything pricier at the mo.

i've been meaning to try the chanel, but never have. recently i've been using maybelline's dream creamy and its quite good. just dont pile it on with the enclosed sponge as it'll go on too thick.

i use smashbox's primer, which i find excellent. it smooths out my skin and makeup doesn't go patchy, which it used to (combination skin). a little goes a long way. i think its well worth it - that, and touche eclat are my splurges.

again, cheapish, but i've been using bourjois bronzer and its lovely. has small gold glints in it, but not ott. i have used it in the daytime. its quite popular i think.

re lipstick, the pinky shade i use is no longer sold, but mac have lovely pinky colours, and the lipstick is so soft.

i dont wear eyeshadow. hth...
