Free fringe trim - do you still give hairdresser any money?

Never done this before, but tomorrow I am popping into the hairdresser's for a "free fringe trim" (as they told me I could do when they last cut my hair).

Should I still give her a coupe of quid? What's the done thing? I don't want to look mean!

I do, but I really like my hairdresser, and always tip her.

I had that dilemma so I bought mine a little box of chocs that cost a couple of quid to say ta.

OK thanks. I'll just give her £2 then and hope this is ok!

I usually give them a couple of quid, but then where I get my fringe trimmed is not my normal hairdresser! Normal hairdresser comes to my house, which she obviously isn't going to do just to cut my fringe, so for that I go to a place near my work.
