bolleaux

are you ACTUALLY going to an ACTUAL festival??

MumInBeds · 07/06/2010 09:06

Ooh, at what age does one get to add that to the list, if you don't mind me asking?

coderrooo · 07/06/2010 09:06

of COURSE i am not. why would i want to tramp around in a field?

OP posts:
coderrooo · 07/06/2010 09:07

i have never been tempted. Fgs i did interrailing

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 07/06/2010 09:09

then this seems a rather minor fashion victory, even for you my dear

i can rock the festy look with he best of them - funky wellies and cutoffs all the way

inter-railing? with socks and sandals i bet

coderrooo · 07/06/2010 09:10

welis and shorts

sigh

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 07/06/2010 09:12

if its good enough for Kate M, it's good enough for me dahling

don't knock it til you've tried it. though i have never followed the dds example of adding a tutu over the top...

coderrooo · 07/06/2010 09:13

oh coemdic tutus

sigh
and leopard print trilbys
and neon tights

way OOOOOOOOOOOOOUt

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 07/06/2010 09:16

oh yes

though i should add that the dds are both under 10 and so can pull it off

i prefer slightly bohemian yet impeccably groomed and groovy mama look

have to take dd1 sandal shopping (td day)

ciao

dexter73 · 07/06/2010 09:27

Saw lots of comedic tutus in Oxford on Saturday as it was the race for life! Why is putting a tutu on over your running stuff so popular?

ruffletheanimal · 07/06/2010 09:50

OliviaMumsnet · 07/06/2010 11:04

coderrooo · 07/06/2010 11:17

ha!
i did have a yearning for wedge wellis
wasnt there going to be a comp olive?

OP posts:
OliviaMumsnet · 07/06/2010 11:27

Prob with having a comp for wedge wellies is they don't meet our minimum style prize values

YoginiPinkBikini · 07/06/2010 11:28

Yes I remember talk of a competition.

coderrooo · 07/06/2010 11:29

mippy · 09/06/2010 22:38

I don't get 'festival fashion'. Surely you should not wear anything that you care about getting drenched in mud?
