I really like new style Pietra fit flops. I always had birkies but i like wedge type of fitflops. The ones i saw before looked more sporty type flip flops iywim.
And wondered if any of mumsnetters know where to get them cheap?or cheaper?
TIA,

I have just bought my first pair of fit flops and posted the same thing about a week ago. It looks like they are universally the same price. I decided to buy them from boots in the end as at least you get some points back and they do free postage. HTH

what do u think of tone ups?

WellMeantHellBent · 06/06/2010 19:02

Was going to suggest Boots too, I got the black boots at Christmas time and got 2000 in points. Wait until a promotion and then get them. I would only buy them if you have back pain or joint problems, they are incredibly comfy but do not tone the bum up noticeably, you get sore calves if you walk far but that is it!

bishboschone · 06/06/2010 19:03

what are tone ups?...BTW I wouldn't but fit flops if you think they will miraculously tone your legs. I walk for miles everyday and I expected my legs to feel a bit sore after a day in my new fit flops but nothing. Good job I only bought them for the foot comfort factor at work.

Thanks girls, I just want them for leisure casual wear. I dont believe in shoes than tones your bum or legs
I like the jeweled Pietra ones as they look nice to wear with casual clothes, rather than sport active type flip flops.
I did not know Boots sold them, i wonder if they do any promotions in the summer.
Off to check Boots online

Diva not specific promos on fitflops but the 'spend £25 get 1000points' type promo. Buy them online and get them delivered to your local store for free.

I have a very bad back which affects my feet as I dont have much give in my back and they certainly help with that.

Hi, my first post!
I bought my first pair of Fitflops this week (silver sequin) and I bought childrens ones so they were only 30.00. They were from John Lewis and I was amazed as they are identical to the adult ones. I'm sure there was a size 6 amongst them too so they go up to quite big sizes.

nymphadora · 06/06/2010 19:56

If you are 5 or under search for kids fit flops as they are cheaper

bishboschone · 06/06/2010 20:05

I am size 4 but i wasnt sure about kids ones..maybe ill have a look,

Divatheshopaholic · 06/06/2010 20:43

Im size between 4-5, i think im 4.5.
They dont seemdo Pietra in kids size. But i like the sequinned ones.
I cant see any 1000points promo in Boots either, do they only do during Xmas?

I am 4 mostly, 5 in some boots and I got size 4. I think 5 would be too big as the tos post is quite far down. I think you would need a code to get extra points.
