Need help finding sandals..

I'm looking for a pair of sandals but haven't yet seen a pair I'd like to buy. I saw a lovely pair on the topshop website a few months back but they've now sold out. There were also a see by chloe pair but they've gone too. So, I want a pair of flat, brown/dark brown leather sandals. I want them to be quite plain and simple with an ankle strap and one strap over the foot. I have some examples of the straps (but don't like the actual shoes) here and here.

I'm struggling to find something which doesn't have hundreds of straps and isn't covered in beads. Help!

Have you tried Office? Dd bought a lovely pair there last week and they are really comfortable and look fab.

How do these match up?

cyb · 06/06/2010 09:32

Oh I had a pair like that when I was little!

chimchar · 06/06/2010 09:47

expensive but gorge!

starsareshining · 06/06/2010 10:09

Ah! Thanks tethersend. They're exactly what I'm after. I think I've actually seen those ones in a magazine and then forgotten about them. The toast shoes are lovely but I just can't afford them. I often find myself flicking through a toast catalogue and thinking that my life should look like that.

brimfull · 06/06/2010 10:38

tethersend · 06/06/2010 10:40

i think you're all just jealous because I WON THE THREAD.

starsareshining · 06/06/2010 10:57

I know they do look a bit like kids shoes but that's what I was after. I'm quite young but look even younger so that kind of thing actually suits me more than something more 'grown up' where I look like I'm playing dress up
