Converse with a maxi dress

Hi. Would I look like a prize tit if I wore white converse shoes with a pale denim coloured linen Maxi dress?

converse are fine. Maxi dresses are fine But concerve and maxi on anyone over 14 is too "ooh look at me , I am soooo eclectic" to look anything but really stupid.

Think Sarah Jessicxa Parker in about five years.....
