here. I like it, to my amazement. What do you think?

hmm...marks always manage to make even the most potentially stylish item look like shit online.

its not the most modern cut I've seen. but if you like it, cool!

southeastastra · 04/06/2010 19:20

just looks like a top and bottom, which would probably be more comfy.

PortiaNovmerriment · 04/06/2010 19:21

Very Margot Leadbetter.

HurleySatOnMe · 04/06/2010 19:21

No no no.
And why do they always get the shoes so wrong on their photos??

cyb · 04/06/2010 19:22

portia now you've said its very Margot I WANT IT

ifancyashandy · 05/06/2010 07:43

Hmmm, not keen on the leg width to be honest but maybe it is just the shoes they've put it with. But go for it if you like it!

veryconfusedandupset · 05/06/2010 07:58

It owuld make your bottom look dreadful - what we call "chimpybum" in this family

tethersend · 05/06/2010 11:33

Prefer this one... and so would Margot. Trust me.

dexter73 · 05/06/2010 12:06

It is quite nice but the whole loo issue puts me off jumpsuits!

cocolepew · 05/06/2010 12:09

It's just crying out for a turban.

aarghhelp · 05/06/2010 12:29

You see, I was thinking it has some of the look of a maxi dress but in a more structured sort of way. I could just about wear the Marks one to work but couldn't wear the very one (can't wander about with a bare back). Also, the block of colour head to toe is quite slmmimg/ pulled together. I'm not sure I love the Marks one enough to get it though. Maybe if it were washable silk...

I like it. There's a bargainous one here too.

ifancyashandy · 05/06/2010 15:31

That last ASOS is lovely but again, wrong shoes - I hate the wide leg / thin heel combo. It either wants flat thongs or a wedge IMHO!

I just bought this

A non-sales assitant woman told me it looked lovely and elegant on me and I should buy it !

I NEVER normally look in Wallis (too 'straight' for me usually but I was getting desperate and waddya know!) I love it - going to wear it this evening with silver flip flops, silver hoop earings and a black and silver belt.

Coderooo · 05/06/2010 16:00

wallis does a mean jersey dress

ifancyashandy · 05/06/2010 16:11

It's a nice weight too. Picture doesn't do it justice - it looks fab across the boobs and's got a nice empire line. It's v. flattering - I'm quite tall and slim (not smug - looks ok clothed - not so much in the nude!) and it skims iynwim?

Coderooo · 05/06/2010 16:12

look have started new thread on discounts at wallis
i hae on today their jersey dress from last uear

todays compliment count is 3 which is normal in it... vair odd

Coderooo · 05/06/2010 16:12

have rung mate to tell her to look at it - she after maxi

ifancyashandy · 05/06/2010 17:24

Ah - hope she likes it! (and isn't going to the same grotty boozer swanky bar as me tonight!

sotough · 05/06/2010 17:36

the idea of a "stylish" trouser suit is a contradition in terms IMHO. they're just awful. no two ways about it. models may just about get away with it. mere mortals have little hope.

sotough · 05/06/2010 17:37

sorry, meant jumpsuit not trouser suit. stylish trouser suits entirely possible.

ifancyashandy · 05/06/2010 18:47

Oh. I've been told I look good in mine. Have people been lying ?

sotough · 05/06/2010 20:17

maybe you have model, or near model looks, in which case they're not lying!

ifancyashandy · 06/06/2010 14:32

Ha Ha - just spat my tea over my keyboard! Certainly not in the model league! I'm no Quassimodo but even my own mother says I'm not photogenic !!

I am 5'8 and a size 10-12 so that's the only similarity (although having seen some models in the flesh, I look like a heffer in comparrison!)
