Hi, I am looking for a new work dress for the summer. I love Karen Millen, but a bit pricey. Tried to buy the Isabella Oliver wrap dress but not my size left.
The dress code for work should be mainly black, I am size 12, 5'8''. I prefere to keep my knees covered as they are not v attractive. I would also like my shoulders covered as top of arms not so hot, I am a young looking 38yrs.
Want to look smart and sexy but in an understated way!
Any ideas??

Too informal?

Wow Tethersend, you are really spoiling me, I love the idea of wearing Jaeger to work.
I need to spend a little time going through them all. Do you think the Jaeger dress fits funny for them to reduce it that much, I am a sucker for a bargain.

I don't know; they have had a few massive reductions, so it's not anything unusual for them to do... it looks fantastic, and am quite jealous they don't have it in my size!

Can't imagine Jaeger ever fitting funny, but you could always send it back if it didn't look right.

Let me know how it is when it arrives.

Try a shift dress, like this one from Topshop. I have a similar dress with a different print and they look fabulous, especially on curvy figures. It's also only £38, which is a bargain.

topsi · 11/06/2010 08:50

Yeah Jaeger dress too large and sack like, BOO! Any more ideas??

Bollocks.

Like that topshop one, though...

Really want the IO one but they never have it in my size.
