I have dry skin and a few wrinkles and it looked very claggy on me, it made me look even older than I am.

AllwaysDoingSomething · 03/06/2010 13:29

I have oily skin with large pores. If applied properly (I use a smash box primer underneath) it looks really good, evens out my skin tone without looking made up and gives a nice almost flawless finish. Other times I can apply it badly, which exaggerates my pores. But in general I like it and will be buying more when my pots run out. Why not go to a counter and have them make you up. See what you think, or but from QVC with their returns policy if you?re not happy.

i think it's terrible for dry skin, but great if you tend to oily and have a GREAT brush. nars do one, i think it's called kabuki, just fantastic.

cakeywakey · 03/06/2010 13:48

I love it and have their brushes which are also very good. I'd echo other posters that it's all in the application, but if you can get that sorted, it's fab. I have normal to oily skin and it's the best foundation I've ever used.

AllwaysDoingSomething · 03/06/2010 14:09

I've not tried other brushes, but the kabuki brush that come with the BM starter kit is great, I even think their blush brush is better than the Ruby and Millie, MAC brushes I have. I?ve only tried their foundation and one eye shadow. I wasn?t keen on the shades of blush. I prefer rosy/peachy blush tones and found the Bare mineral ones to be too brown for my liking.

miche8 · 03/06/2010 16:58

its the best mineral foundation i have tried....have tried and hated boots no7, loreal, lily lo (or what ever its called) and elemental.

I don't have any wrinkles yet, would say my skin is normal but sensitive, you do need to moisturiser well before hand and let it sink in. If i put too much on it looks dry and cakey, the trick is to buff buff buff and more buffing. Coverage is quite good.

lifeistooshort · 03/06/2010 17:02

I love it, it makes me look like I have been airbrushed!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/06/2010 17:06

yy tis fab

you MUST make sure that you moisturise beforehand
