I was in Clarks geeting dd2 some sandals to wear to a wedding this weekend and then onwards in to the summer and I saw and bought these on impulse. They are unbelievably comfortable. I've got red and I think I may have to order camel too.......

do they look better on?

lowlibido · 02/06/2010 22:40

What an unnecessarily bitchy comment collision.

scurryfunge · 02/06/2010 22:40

They look very comfy...Clarks and Hush Puppies are always my favourite for comfort.

Northernlurker · 02/06/2010 22:41

Collision - I don't believe I said they looked amazing I said they are incredibly comfortable. I think they look fine on - not drop dead gorgeous but that wasn't really the look I was aiming for.

I can't wear mega high shoes or very flat ones due to previous smashed ankle (lots of metal involved) and I spend my whole life (it seems) seeking the perfect comfy pair....that means more to me than anything else.

Oh poo!!!!

I soooooooooooooo didnt mean it like that!

i had a glass of wine and it came out wrong!

what I meant to say was that they didnt look particularly trendy as a lot of Clarks shoes dont but that on they look a lot nicer.

am so sorry.

A colleague at work had a pair of Clarks shoes on which looked fab but I would not have necessarily picked them up myself.

Really didnt mean to offend and have come out in a slightly hot sweat when I saw this thread just now.

Northernlurker · 03/06/2010 11:13

That's ok And now at least you know where to go if you're looking for comfortable shoes.....

They look very nice. Conforatble, practical and totally inoffensive compared to 'fashion' such as Uggs, fit flops and crocs.

I have a standard pair of black Clark's sandels.

belgo · 03/06/2010 11:16

Collison you've already had a glass of wine?

belgo · 03/06/2010 11:17

ah you posted last night!

Northernlurker · 03/06/2010 11:32

Belgo 'Conforatble, practical and totally inoffensive ' - is exactly what I was aiming for! We're taking the kids to London at the weekend and I need comfortable feet!

'Conforatble' I've just noticed that -it looks like I've been on the wine myself!

Enjoy your trip to London. I'm thinking about ordering the res ones for myself.

Whoamireally · 03/06/2010 21:10

These are nice from Clarks - a bit cloggy but a bit more feminine at the same time. Clarks have some nice shoes if you know where to look!

KurriKurri · 03/06/2010 21:24

They look really nice NL, I live in flat leather sandals in summer - so comfortable. I like the other ones on that page too here
