I often have to go supermarket shopping with my 2 and a half year old and since we walk to the local supermarket I need something on wheels to carry the shopping back in. Currently I am using bags but its killing my shoulders when I have 3 or 4 full bags and a toddler to get home.
does anyone know any nice bags on wheels that are roomy and strong but won't make me look like an oap?

My mum has this one.

I have one similar to mrspear, it's great.

I tend to use it for days out now the ds's are older and we don't have a buggy. I did use it for shopping during the snow though and when I had an op and couldn't carry much.

I can highly recommend them.

Those Rolser ones are meant to be fab. I would love one. I have a folding £4.99 Sainsburys one that was on offer one week. I can just about get most of a full shop in it but it's not v stable so would personally recommend a non-folding model if you can spend a bit more. Mine is brilliant for the money, though, and I use it a lot.

Go to your local market.

THere will be an entire stall, or possibly 3 or 4 stalls dedicated to this one vital item.

They are £8-£12.

They are great.

Mine is called Mrs Brady Old Lady.

I have a shopping trolley and think it's fab. they're not just for grannies. you can get them in loads of cheap shops now but try to find one that looks quite chunky around the wheel area so it doesn't break

Ooh. I'm having a flashback. I think one of the first ever posts I did on mn was in answer to a request for one of these.

Orla Kiehly does them.

OllieWollieWoo · 04/06/2010 07:36

I have an Ikea one - use it for the vegetable run at the Saturday market!!! Mine is balck with a white print but they now do a pink one - DH would refuse to go anywhere near it tho!

fivecandles · 04/06/2010 08:20

I have an Ikea one. It's really great but dp won't be seen with me and it!

sago · 04/06/2010 08:42

aha, now I understand why the shop down the road sells one for 330 euros! It´s black and aluminium... I wondered who would buy it....
it´s for the men!

NinjaChipmunk · 04/06/2010 09:27

I see to remember seeing some on the Habitat website for about £15 although that was some time ago.

Lakland Plastic does a nice one too - or it did!
