I've been trawling online and finding nothing I like, so need help

I've got a lovely grey tweed Orla Kiely bag which dh gave me a couple of Christmases ago - it's truly gorgeous and doesn't scream O K at you, but it's very much a winter/autumn bag

I want something which will go on my shoulder or across my body, with wide straps which don't dig in, is big enough to hold all my stuff (notebook, wallet, make-up bag, mobile and stuff the dc chuck in there when I'm not looking ) but not so big I can never find anything in it, fastens securely (v important), don't particularly want leather, no logos (or only v discreet ones), no ugly buckles/extraneous dangly bits, and pref under £100 (that way I don't feel I have to run it past dh who doesn't 'get' the idea of summer and winter bags

I do actually like the shape and style of the Cath Kidston messenger bags but they're very, very obviously Cath Kidston and I'm not really a floral, CK-ish type of person

thanks

is this too boring?

hmm handbags are such a personal thing.
I'm liking this and this, even tho the latter is grey so maybe too heavy a colour for summer. However as they are not leather they are very affordable.

Have you tried Accessorize, they did great big/bold/brash summer bags, not everyones taste however. I quite like this

sorry - neither of those is quite right ... but thanks anyway

the problem is I know what I don't like, but I'm not so sure on what I do like - I'm sort of hoping I'll know it when I see it

I've been into Accessorize and it's all a bit cheap and glittery for me ...

any more suggstions?
