1920s style, jewellery make up and shoes - any hints?

I have to go to a 1920s-themed party tonight. I have got a straight dress which will do, a silly headthing and a long string of pearls but are there any fashion historians out there who know what style of shoes/earrings/make up would be appropriate?

Not a fashion historian (sadly) but I would go for dolly shoes or t-bar shoes, red lips/smoky eyes for make-up and diamante or pearl chandelier earrings. Long gloves are good too, if you have them!
