I saw a lady in sainsburys with a beyootiful pair of sandals the other day - didn't think to ask her where they were from and can't seem to find anything similar in faith, clarks, next, (basically the extensive range of shops available on my doorstep). Anyone seen or bought anything like this?

On Saturday! These

They look much better on and are dead comfy. Bit expensive though.

I also tried these on, very nice aswell, and less expensive. I liked the Gabor ones better, as they have a full back IYKWIM and my heels are not so pretty

Lauriefairycake · 01/06/2010 10:07

these are very nice but brown rather than tan

tethersend · 01/06/2010 10:07

Can you describe them? Were they strappy or peep toe?

These?

These?

These?

There are many...

fly london do nice wedge sandals, bit on the chunky side but very comfy.

stainesmassif · 01/06/2010 10:37

they looked a bit 70's...they had a platform sole. there were circular holes cut out at the front and they were a peeptoe. they looked expensive....i wish i'd asked her!

Moral of the story? ALWAYS ASK THE WOMAN> Gives her a perk up and means you get the shoes you want

Job done

i am kicking myself and hanging my head in shame simultaneously. maybe she's a mumsnetter? she had a child and was very well dressed for the supermarket.

Were they anything like these?

stainesmassif · 01/06/2010 14:43

all very nice, but not them. the hush puppy ones that someone (i'm so sorry, i can't find out who it was) linked to here are a tiny bit similar, but the objects of my affection had a bigger platform sole.

Could it be this pair from Clarks?

CrosswordGeekWantsChange · 01/06/2010 16:41

These are nice (IMO, sorry not Boden!)

stainesmassif · 01/06/2010 19:14

no, am afraid those aren't them. cyb's right. if only i could go back in time and ask the lady.

Hi i brought a nice pair of tan wedge sandals from New Look of all places, cost £30.00-bargain! Take a look, you might be able to see them online...

BubblyBluePebbles · 26/06/2011 10:43

I saw a really nice pair of grey leather wedges on sale in Phase Eight, Richmond last week but they were the last pair in a size 7 and I'm a size 5. They also come in a tan colour. I asked the Shop Assistant to check stock in other London stores and I managed to track down the last size 5 in tan in the Weymouth Street branch (off Marylebone High Street). They were a bargain as they were reduced from £95 to £47.50!

Unfortunately not real leather but it feel soft like it and they don't look cheap, comfy too.
