Brut?

gtamom · 31/05/2010 16:00

I'd ask the person at the fragrance counter for the one he used to wear or something very similar.

My stepdad, who is in his 60's likes Moulton Brown things, especially Re-charge Black Pepper Body Wash. Molton Brown is sold by various department stores, their own stores and at various online retailers.

Why get aftershave? I feel it's better to get a gift pack/traveller pack from a manufacturer so your dad can experiment and see what he likes and dislikes.

If you want lower cost items and want it to be shaving related... then KoS has shaving kits. Boots and various supermarkets stocks their products so if you dad likes it he can easily get more.

Dad called old spice "old piss"
My brother is 58 and wears Chanel Allure...

shhhh · 31/05/2010 20:01

lol at "old piss" tis true though .

nn,thanks for the suggestion. I love molton brown along with dh (I have bought him the black pepper one mentioned before) and I think my dad would love their stuff as well..

I just thought aftershave as mum said he's run out and asked for more of what he'd been using.. BUT mum couldn't remember what it was and just asked for Paco Rabanne..assuming that was it.. "a bottle of PB please" !

Ideas given are fab, thanks. Will look at gift sets of various things esp molton brown.

Thanks x

Any of the Tom Ford or the classic ACQUA DI PARMA - lovely and classic for all ages.

expatinscotland · 31/05/2010 20:09

My dad wears the classic Aqua di Parma.

He's in his late 70s.

My sister and I club together to get it for him for his birthday.

It smells divine on him.
