A Ped Egg! I have a cheap Boots "foot file" but it's the same. And disgustingly satisfying.

muggglewump · 31/05/2010 14:29

Ped egg and flexitol.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 31/05/2010 14:36

Will I ever be able to eat parmesan again???

Sure, I just wouldn't eat it whilst using the ped egg

BoysAreLikeDogs · 31/05/2010 14:47

or get one of those fish pedicures

sheffield any good to you?

FreakoidOrganisoid · 31/05/2010 15:12

at fish pedicure.

Are the ped egg rip offs like you get in poundland the same as the real ones?

deffo ped egg.

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 31/05/2010 17:34

Ped egg plus Flexitol - but you don't need to keep on with the Ped egg as long as you religiously apply the Flexitol daily.
And socks overnight or before you go out in the morning help with absorption.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 01/06/2010 11:28

So is the flexitol just a deep moisturiser or does it have something in it that magically gets rids of hard skin? And will I have to use it forever or just until my feet get better?

It contains urea which I think is the key ingredient.
I find I don't have to use it every day now, but I can't leave it more than a couple of days before the dryness starts showing again.
As an added bonus, I've found Flexitol excellent for seeing off the bumpy skin on backs of arms!

The only thing I've found that works - and my heels are vile - is Flexitol with gel socks. None of the little cotton socks work, it has to be the gel ones which stick on your heel. They are fab - in Boots £7.99.

I give myself a home pedicure about once a month.

I soak my feet then use one of these to get the hard dead skin off.

Then do my nails, then foot cream to finish off.
