Should also mention that New Look had the same style in about 6 different colourways. Some colours were sized XS, S, M and L and other colours were 8,10, 12, 14. They all mayched up iykwim. An 8 fitted exactly the same as an XS, a 10 as an S, etc.

Yes, my New look had lots of them in. They were attracting a lot of attention though .

yeah, not on website. Maybe best to ring your store to ask if they have the AXParis strapless maxi for £29 before setting off. Better that than risk a long trek for nothing!

According to a blog I just found, the dress KK is wearing is from the summerzone section in River Island, just tried to lok for it but the website crashed my computer.

Nah, AX Paris website. To my surprise/shame/horror, I have just bought it - though I am far too old and fat.

how long is it halfterm? I need it to be very very long!

I am over 5ft 9 and it is just above my ankles. On kerry katona it is dragging the floor, it's not like that on me. Whilst ideally I would like it to be longer it does not look bad for being a bit shorter. Realistically I sort of accept that I struggle finding long clothes from normal collections on the high street anyway!

have just checked out details on the AX Paris website.
i'm usually a size 12 but my bust has shrunk recently and i'm worried that a strapless dress will "slip down" - does anyone know if thats a real concern?

also, delivery is £3 plus you have to pay to send it back recorded delivery so possibly up to £5 i'd need to spend to discover its not the right fit?

what are your thoughts?

I am a size 8 and bought the XS size. It is tight on my bust but I do wear it with a strapless bra. You can't see the bra at all so it's all good . I don't think it owuld come down tbh, the material on bust is clingy. A strapless bra will keep everything in place anyway. Plus, there is a tie that you pull to the back and put a bow in. I actually pull mine to the back then wrap it back round to front and tie the bow there. I think it looks nicer that way and it makes the whole thing feel very secure around the norks.

Right, it came.

First off, sizing is very generous.

Secondly, the white is quite see-through - ok for beach to bar / garden, but would need a strapless bra otherwise and nude knicks.

But on the whole, it is £30 well spent - looks more than it costs, probably, and easy to look after.

Oh yeah - there is a tie at the back (see KK pic) that could be cut off and passed through the loop of fabric that ruches the bandeau top, to provide a halter neck for those who like extra nork security.

oh goody - i've ordered mine and still awaiting its arrival!
when you say quite see through, do you think for evening wear it would need a white half slip as well as nude underwear?
