Comfortable ballet pumps for wide feet

For me this is the holy grail. I've got wide feet, I don't want totally flat cheapo shoes so it feels like I'm walking on the ground, but not a wedge or too much of a heel. Also not too much toe cleavage as this always hurts me. Has anyone got anything that they own and recommend? Funky colours preferred.

they're not cheap but I've recently bought Bloch ballet pumps and they are so, so comfortable. I have large (41/42) feet, very wide too ... and I've been traipsing all over town in these since I got 'em.

I got mine from asos.com but they're also on netaporter and coggles.

But ballet pumps are totally flat, no??

If they have a heel they are courts or wedges!

Give us an idea of ones you have tried and not liked - eg I find M&S and Next ok and have fairly wide feet but if they are no good for you we might need more specialist places iyswim....

I tried a pair like, but not these but the European sizes were ginormous or tiny. I know pumps are normally flat, but I want a sort of tiny raised heel so I'm not totally totally flat.

How about these

Earhart · 29/05/2010 22:30

The M&S ones look really comfy Sweetmuffin, I might consider the pewter but was hoping for a turquoise or brighter colour.

new look do leather wide fit pumps -
here and a few more on the site.

Monadami · 30/05/2010 01:36

Mine are from Clarks, quite soft leather and very comfy.

Ronaldinhio · 30/05/2010 01:40

my mum often buys her shoes here they go up to a ten and are properly wide
not necessarily stylish though!

Paribus · 30/05/2010 08:13

i already mentioned in a different thread- german shoe brands from peter jones/john lewis are good for wide feet and quite stylish as well, apart from them blue velvet shoes are v good and v pretty.

Earhart · 30/05/2010 10:01

I'm liking the Blue Velvet recommendation, thanks.

To seond the New Look suggestion, I have several pairs of their wide fit shoes (I inherited duck feet form my Mum) and they are very confortable and are lasting well.

Melfish · 30/05/2010 21:35

I got some pumps from Blowfish here
which were too wide for me ( I have quite duck-esque feet) from the office shoes website and the bloke in the shop said they do come up quite wide. They had some in the sale on the web too.
