Link between mood & clothes

I've been stuck in a rut for the past 5 yrs and tbh i've not bothered at all with clothes or putting on make up or even having a shower some mornings. Now my world has changed as we are moving house, moving job and things are generally looking up.

For the first time in my life I am taking an interest in fashion, saving every nice clothes website linked from here into my bookmarks and I have gone on a massive (for me) ebay buying spree.

I've spend the last 3 weeks wearing nothing but dresses-the last time I did that I was probably a toddler.

Oh and the first board I now look at on MN is Style and Beauty. Last year this section would have bored me rigid.
Sadly though I am now the fattest I have ever been in my life so it's hard to buy nice things

Anyone had any simular experiences?

Yay! Definately true for me. Have spent the last 2 years pregnant and then fat. Since sorting out the weight it's a revelation. Before, I dressed in stuff that kind of hid me. Now I am a size 10 for the first time ever, I feel happy and I dress to reflect that. I buy stuff I like and know it looks good. The last few years have been partuicuarly hard for various reasons and I definately feel I lost myself for a bit, in the least wishy washy way possible, and I just lost interest. It's only since sorting out my weight and personal and professional life that I am enjoying clothes. So nice to be able to look nice every day and be conscious of how I look in a positive way

Victoria-really glad to hear you have your mojo back! Whatever your size, taking an interest in what you wear will make you feel more confident, and a well chosen outfit can help in your working life IMHO. What websites have you found the best?

Hi NotyummyI just save pretty dresses and every website going that stocks petite clothes.

If I knew how to copy and paste all my bookmarks from firefox I would but I fear doing them one at a time would take forever.
