Help! Is this a vile sack?

I bought this yesterday in a size 12.

Got it home and tried it on and said to my husband "do you like my new dress?" (he always says yes btw). And he said "No. it makes you look huge"

Bloody hell! Shall I ignore him?

I think it's pretty and I am a size 12. That's not huge.

I think it depends on your shape. I.e if you are an apple and have skinny legs then it probably looks ok, but if you are a pear or hourglass I would think it prob hides your shape. I am a size 8 but v hourglass and it would make me look very round as it would hide my smallest part.
Blardy expensive too!

It is now back in Jigsaw accompanied by its friend the horribly tight green linen trousers. And I have given up shopping for the duration.

Definitely a sack. I'm a size 12 and that would make me look enormous, for all that I might be attracted to its waistless comfort interesting print.

Good call on returning it; dresses with a waistline are definitely more flattering to someone with curves

You could probably make it look better by wearing a wide belt at hip height and then blousing the dress over it a bit.

Every time I see this in Active Convos I think of scrotums...

Having seen what you are talking about, I'm with your husband. There is something nicer out there for you.
