I'm a size 8 and want some jeans and a cardi from there, last time I shopped there everything swamped me, is it still the same? Can't be arsed ordering and returning again.

I have everything from a size 6 to a 12 in tops from Fatface. I am usually a small 10 top /8 bottom in high street stores. In the latest 50% off sale I got a tunic (generous 10) jeans (girls age 13 great fit!), size 10 cardi ( generous as I prefer) a stripy blouse in size 8 ( perhaps a bit snug but the 10 hung off)) and a wool waistcoat in a 10 that I will need to shrink because I should have got a smaller size!

Can we have more tunics please- not smocky things with ties.
I have a couple of lovely ones from last year- a purple/grey print one is still a favourite.

The stuff I ordered arrived today.

The size 8 jeans fit fine around the waist but are slightly baggy around the arse and thighs, I gave birth 6 weeks ago so in a month or two I doubt these will fit at all.

The size 8 grey wool waistcoat is slightly too tight, lovely though!

Oh, I'm going to be v cheeky and duck in here with a request for DH! He's 6' 3 tall and finds it really difficult to get trousers long enough to fit properly - longest length seems to be 34, and he really needs 36 - 35 at a push. He's not freakishly tall, so why is the longest length always 34?

Our most recent purchase was a bodywarmer for dd - she's a tall, not fat 3yo. we had to buy age 6-7 to fit over a thin cardi!

Ooh, well if Fat Face are coming back, could I just say that their child sizes are teeny. DS2 will be 12 on Sunday and winter before last (i.e. when he was 10!) he was wearing age 12-13. DS2 was 9 in March and has completely grown out of age 8-9, consigned two sweaters to the charity pile yesterday, put a new 10-11 sweater in his wardrobe and am hoping that it will last until Autumn. Both boys are tall-ish but not overly so.

Like Habbibu I am also going to be cheeky and jump in and ask FF to re-consider their overseas P&P charges!!! I live in The Netherlands and 8 pounds for one item then an additional 2.50 for each additional item is just far too much to pay - especially when Next deliver for a flat charge of 5 euros. Really puts me off ordering!

Re sizing - I find trousers on the big size but tops ok (I'm a size 12). Only brought a cardi since March and that fits fine (at the Market Harborough store which has lovely, lovely sales assistants btw!)

Also agree with Habbibu re mens lengths - DH also needs a 36!
