Please help me find a simple jacket/coat.

I am looking for a smart/casual jacket with not much fuss. So, no obvious pockets, shoulder pads, military style, huge frills or belts etc.

Perhaps a single-breasted trench coat but tailored and without a belt, for example.

I am 5'3 and size 16 on top and 14 on bottom.

I dont know where to start looking...

Clure - the double-breasted ones are out for me as they just make me look even bigger. I quite like the boyfriend jacket.

GreedyGoose - will go and look at DP. Hadn't thought of them.

Moneyspider - much more along those lines. That is a beautiful jacket. I need full length sleeves and a slightly more practical colour but it looks lovely, doesnt it!

tethersend - not keen on the belt/bow on the green one but I love the Four Seasons Mac in blue. I have bookmarked. It is a bit more than I was hoping to pay but I could possibly justify as an investment piece.
