Mid life Goth Crisis

I'm soon to be 37 with two small children and am bored of the mish mash of dull, brightly coloured bodenesque style mummy clothing that have infiltrated my wardrobe over the last few years.

I am size 12/14 hourglass with mouse hair. I used to wear a lot of vintage stuff and had 'style' rather then fashion.

I am drawn to these Dr Martens

and All Saints tops and knitwear however my wardrobe contains mostly bootcut jeans and depressing jersey tops.

Guess I'm on the cusp of falling into the eccentric side of school gate mums soo
will my children hate me?
Should I just grow up and dress my age?
Do you shy away from the others nod to fashion sensible stuff and are pleased/aware of family's despair
Should I just take a deep breathe and watch Gok?
Thank you
