Pleeeeaaassseee show me some hairstyles

I am having hair cut and coloured tomorrow and I would like something different.

At the moment its a bit like an Alexandra Burke style without the fringe (in the broken heels video, longer at front than back, poker straight).

Its quite thin, and im blonde, 35 almost!

I quite fancy Katie Holmes short bob but I also think maybe something a bit more mature with some layers (like Lysette Anthonuy hair on The Wright Stuff this morning).

Can anyone find me something suitable that I can take to the hairdresser

TIA

One of these maybe

mosschops30 · 27/05/2010 11:47

it cannot be a fancy style, i have 3 kids and start back to work next week, it needs to be manageble and fabulous

I got mine done like this and it's so easy. The most I do is whack a bit of wax on the ends. It's choppy and razor cut.

mosschops30 · 27/05/2010 14:10

lovin that curious but I am just not able to pull it off.
I am destined to look like this forever

Like the 14:31 ones, mossy. Wonder if you'll need lots of Product to make it look that thick, though?

mosschops30 · 27/05/2010 14:50

yes I dojnt want it flat to my head as normally is with such fine hair, although highlights make it thicker, and appear thicker so might get away with it.
Do you think it looks like its got loads of product? Thought I might get away with rough drying and sticking some stuff to tweak the ends

Well, it's a sleb-type shot, so it's been styled and therefore Producted. Maybe you could use something at the roots while drying, and then tweaky ends. I do like it though.

mosschops30 · 27/05/2010 14:56

any idea who the sleb is? Maybe i can look at some other photos

Do you think if I give all 3 pics to my hairdresser then she'll get an idea of what I want?

Don't know - googled to no avail. Try posting in in sleb twaddle. Or AIBU!

NobleFrangipani · 27/05/2010 15:12

Ah x-post!

CrankyTwanky · 27/05/2010 15:27

OOh that KH 'do is fab!

mosschops30 · 28/05/2010 13:55

dh bought home some pics of this sleb last night for printed off to take to hairdresser, but he thinks her hair is really thick and wont work with mine.

Does anyone think I can get away with this with fine hair?
