Have been cynical for ages about them, but my remingtons died so I bought some second hand ghds to see what the fuss was about.

Well duh, now I get it my hair is all shiny and straight and took 5 minutes to do!

Having already found a brilliant barber who cuts my hair for £10.00 every 8 weeks.

And the best hair dye ever that costs only £2.49.

I am thrilled, excluding the initial cost of the GHDs £35, over 12 months the maintence of my hair works out at a grand total of £79.02.

Previously I paid £30 every 8 weeks for a cut and a professional colour every 6 months £60.00 ( at home top up in between cost around £5.00 (and never looked that good) which is £270 per year.

Sorry to bore you all but my hair has never, ever been as nice as it is now or as cheap .... hurrah.

you got GHDS for £35! thats a good price! however if they do break being second hand, save up to buy a brand new pair! they really are so worthit and they all have a sticker inside with a serial number on it, register them online on their website and if anything goes wrong with them they will sort it out!

i bought mine 2 years ago for £95, and I think they are amazing!

i love how you have worked the prices out !

GHDS all the way!

GHDs are amazing. You mentioned the "best hair dye ever" do you have any details about it?

ArseHolio · 27/05/2010 12:14

SkipHopJump · 27/05/2010 12:45

My GHDs are 6 months old and breaking Before that I had a pair for a year and they were wonderful, I gave them to a lady I knew who had had hers stolen in a break in. She didn't even say thankyou, probably sold them on ebay.

Hmmph.

I registered the second hand pair on ghd website they are only 6 months old and under warranty - hurrah!
(hope they weren't yours skip hop

I use schartzkopf country colours semi permants, as they are tone on tone I get a much more even and intense colour and they make my hair all soft and shiny for ages after application. You can normally get them in those 'savers' chemists.

I am so converted to ghds
