Please help!

What is the current 'hot' fashion in jeans? And what is to be avoided?

TIA

I think you should wear jeans that suit you be it straight leg, skinny or bootcut.
I have been wearing straight cut jeans recently but not really sure what is 'hot'!!

Sorry - should have explained - it's for a project I'm doing on maternity wear and transferring fashion into maternity. I need to be able to have some sense of what's hot in jeans for this reason!

(But on a personal note, can you get jeans that come up to under your bust to deal with a muffin top?!)

Come on all you fashionistas! You surely can help me?!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

Top Shop do a good job with their maternity jeans. Basically all their maternity styles are versions of their "normal" ones.

squeaver · 25/05/2010 22:22

still mainly skinnies on net-a-porter

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/05/2010 22:43

Thanks, squeaver - would you say, therefore, that skinnies are a fashion imperative?

yes, I think so.

this is interesting though

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/05/2010 23:09

So two-tone loons, beloved in the mid-70s, could be on their way back soon!!!

thanks very much, squeaver

Jeans that are nice and distressed are hot right now

Oh how I wish I was that thin, ttc! I think I was probably 12 when I last looked like that.

Interesting, from a style pov, that they're still skinnies.

Thanks!

BIWI - You and me both!! Hareem jeans are also very popular at the moment and they are far more forgiving and comfortable. I actually have some.

here

I don't have these mine are a combination of distressed and hareem.
