Do you mean clothes for your girl with the Barbie logo or clothes for her barbies?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/05/2010 10:41

How tiny is your DD if she can fit in barbie clothes?

Sportsworld - cheap, and tacky cheerful

Dd1 has some that were donated by SIL, which means that they were more than likely purchased from Debenahams. They are quite sweet actually, considering.

is there anywhere that does nicer clothing? She's really fashion & brand aware right now and I really want to get her some amazing Barbie clothes

Do Barbie do amazing clothes???

Dd1's are hand-me-downs but to be fair to Barbie, they are quite good quality and not a all too grown up. They are a bit pink though.

Sil only ever shops at department stores. Everything else we got that year were from Debanahams. So I'd guess these were too.

Dd1 is liking fashion atm, and she is more into jeggings, loose tops, head bands etc. She won't wear logo'd clothing because it's for babies. She is 6 too.

sarahpowell · 25/05/2010 10:59

wow so are most of your DD1's friends not into logos and brands too?

My DD also likes some of the Micky & Hello Kitty stuff that we've got from h&m. Do you think I'm buying her clothes that are too young?

can anyone give me more advice please?

Dd1 likes Hello Kitty, some Hannah Montana stuff and some High School Musical stuff.

She prefers to dress like my sister, though. So Barbie stuff is too pink. She has given hers to dd2 now because it is is 'too babyish'. I don't see much of her friends outside of their school uniform, so I don't know what they wear.

Dd1 and I shop together for her clothes. She chooses them and I okay the price and decency. She has learn their is no point in asking me to buy her mini skirts with bikini tops and is pretty sensible.

I think you are not getting many responses because most MNetters think Barbie should be hung, drawn and quartered.

Could you just ask your daughter what sort of clothes she likes?
