is a playsuit ever acceptable on a 32 year old short arse?

i am very petite, 5'1" and size 8 with tiny hips and biggish norks. its my future sil's hen party on sunday, we are going to do make up/pampering then out for dinner, few bars then a club.

firstly, its a sunday so regular clubbing stuff is not required (phew) but i want to look fab, esp since i will be spending the wedding looking like a 12 year old.

ive found this thought i could either team it with nude tights, red shoes and a wide red belt or opaque tights, black shoes with pink sole and pink belt/bag.

if you think its vile, please help me find something else

what colour tights were you thinking for the opaque option? sommat bright?

normally i wouldnt even look at them but im at my wits end. everything i already own is... quirky rather than funky.

I like it but definitely not with nude tights - I'd go bare legs personally.

Don't think I'd do a belt in contrasting colour either.

With black shoes and pink bag perhaps?

i was actually thinking black, although i do have a fab pair of fuscia high heels that would look quite cool with bright tights.

nooooo dont like the legs, and im way too short to pull that off. dont think id be comfortable with bare legs tbh, im slim but have cellulitey thighs. my legs only look good when covered, even with 5den.

wouldn't do black tights with black playsuit - but would also be wary of bright tights and bright shoes - unless you really could pull off that clashy look. Think that is more for the yoof really

so either no tights and bright shoes / black shoes with some bold or bright chunky jewellery or bright tights and black shoes

Yes it would look good on the proviso you team it with platform skyscraper heels.

heels are pretty high my legs (while cellulitey) are long (for a shortarse anyway) christ, i feel so out of touch. times like this i wish my lil sis still lived nearby!

If you are short then it will look much better than the one that traceybath linked to (which would look amazing on someone tall!)

your age is irrelevant! 32 is more than young enough to get away with something like that.

I love it, slap on some fake bake and go for it.

i really like the boohoo one, and its half the price of the miss s one. BUT the miss s is petite!

that dotty second one would go with yr fuscia shoes and black opaques. Bonus that yr not having to break in some nightmare heels then
