Fake tan & cream chiffon dress - POSSIBLE?

Hi - I need some advice on fake tan please.

I have found lovely dress to wear to wedding - it's mainly cream

I've only used fake tan on my legs in the past & I was thinking of using it on arms, chest, back too for the wedding.

Will the fake tan rub off on the fabric and spoil my dress? Or if I do it enough in advance will it be OK? The wedding is at 6pm & it's in Portugal so will probably be hot.

I'd rather go without if it's going to rub onto fabric of dress, but would love a little help with tan if possible.

On ocassions I used Fake Bake top to toe - I apply it at night, sleep with it on then shower off in the morning - will rub off on sheets so best to put some towels down or something but once you've showered the excess off nothing else will rub off your skin.

I picked up some Boots own brand - I will do it the day before.

why - are you so horrique white?
why not get a dress that suirts your colouring rather than oompa loompa ing up

dress does suit my colouring & I have a wee bit of a tan left over from trip to NZ a few months ago.

I don't want to go orange or dark or anything - just a little bit of a glow to help things along. But good point - I will try it out tonight, see how it goes with dress & if it looks dreadful I can abandon ideas of any tanning later in week.

Just make sure its a good fake tan so do a roadtest first.

Personally I like st tropez and would get a spray tan if I wanted guaranteed good results.
