Does anyone know of anywhere other than Next, that does girls grey school shorts ??

DD (10) is being an arse and won't wear a skirt of summer dress to school. She said she will wear girls shorts though.

The only place I can find that does any is Next and they are £10 a pair which is just not doable at the moment as she'd need two pairs.

Has anyone seen any anywhere else cheaper ??

Have tried Asda online and instore and have tried tesco, debenhams, bhs and adams online.

DO they have to be grey? They had them in black in Sainsbos this morning, shorts not culottes.

I need grey ones too.

Thank's, they are exactly the right type of thing, but they have to grey.

I went into ASDA today to look for school shorts for DS. There were some shorts with the boys stuff that kind of had a pleat down the front. I thought they must really be meant for girl as they were shorts that looked like a skirt iykwim, I suppose a skort.I don't know what size they went up to.I think they were about £5.

What size does your DD need? I have two brand new pairs of the asda shorts fin42 is talking about in size 9-10 - bought before Easter, forgot to get DD to try them on before we went away on holiday, and by the time we got back and discovered they were too small for her, I'd missed the 28 day return period. I was wondering which of her friends might be able to use them (but they are all a lot smaller and skinnier), so if you'd like them, I'd be happy to send them to you....
