So i've got my appointment for my first ever one!!!! Do I need to do anything before I go like trim or something? And how much is this going to hurt me?

Take a couple of paracetamol before you go!

Erm...it won't hurt at all.....

Trim to no less than 1cm. Be specific about where you want to be waxed as they could take off a little more than you expected. Do you want a triangle or a rectangle? If you want the top waxed, let them know. It's worth getting a little of the underneath waxed too, where the inner thigh meets your groin. Doesn't hurt there as you're more fleshy.

Explain that it's your first time and as Stretch said, take Paracetamol 15 mins beforehand.

I was suprised by how little it hurt at my first appointment. Yes there is a moment of OUCH, but its really not that bad in my opinion.

Remember the therapist does this a lot, she will be expert at putting you at ease so try not to be too nervous.
