Really nice, slightly quirky mens suits

DH and I are going to a wedding that will be rather meedja and above our plain old office suits. I have sourced a great outfit but DH is panicing. Anyone know where to but mens suits with a wow factor?

Ted Baker
Top Man
depending on budget.. selfridges, flannels et al

We are in central London. DH keeps saying he wants something "different" and not like the office. To me a suit is a suit so I am not sure what he is getting at.

DP is like this... turns out what they mean by 'different' is an everso-slight-imperceptible-to-the-female-eye difference. Perhaps a buttonhole at a jaunty angle or a vent cut half an inch higher than normal.

Weirdos.

Anyway, with that in mind, DP says Zara are good.

What's your budget BTW?

Oh, and he says check out TK Maxx as they sometimes have designer suits at good prices. He also says can you get him a beer out of the fridge?

Actually, that last bit might have been for me.

ds recently hired a suit from a company called tux'n'tails. they had some fantastic italian suits in there, some lovely suits around atm

Usually I would say Ted Baker. But, I was talking to some friends today about our outfits for a mutual wedding we are attending and one of the guys said he got a suit from H&M which was really reasonable and very similar to Ted Baker and a little bit quirky... always worth a look!

Do we have the same DH Tether? Mine has also asked to be re-largered. Budget is flexible. DH is now yannering on about not wanting to look like the only public servant in the room. Gah. I sense a long and frustrating stint in Selfridges looming.
