Very small toddler shoes - where are they?

Sammy74 · 23/05/2010 20:39

My daughter has size tiny 2 1/2 E feet even though she is nearly 18 months. I cannot find any nice summer shoes for her anywhere.

Does anyone know of any stockists for this size - I just want something white and plain.

I have tried Start-rite and Clarks, but don't like any of them (too many flowers and swirly bits)

Thanks..

Where are you in the country?

Sammy74 · 23/05/2010 20:44

I love these, but sold out in her size on this site and cannot find them elsewhere.

I cant actually believe I am contemplating that amount of cash, but I have been searching for over an hour now and am losing the will to live.

Try again, am new to links! They have a shop in Edinburgh where I live - I'm sure there must be one in London

oopsandbabycoconut · 23/05/2010 20:54

I ordered DD a pair of startrite ones. I went in and had her measured then they ordered 3 different ones for us and fitted them to see which fitted best.

Sammy74 · 23/05/2010 21:23

I have ordered these ones for parties bear shoes

HLaurens - thanks for your link. There is a Vincent near me, but they never have any stock in the small sizes. However, their website has got some really nice ones even though it doesnt look like you can order on-line - I will give them a call direct tomorrow to see if they can help.

oopsandbabycoconut - thanks, but she already has a pair of startrite ones and I dont like any of the others. I wanted something really plain!

Sammy - I think they are revamping their UK website. You can usually buy online...

mrsbuggywinkle · 23/05/2010 21:31

www.softstarshoes.com

They made size 2s to order for my tiny one and they worked out at about £25 including shipping.

Sammy74 · 23/05/2010 21:32

Yes, there looks to be something wrong with the site. Everything you select says 'null'??

I will give them a ring tomorrow.

I found See Kai Run were good when my two year old was a size 2.5 as they come up fairly small so a 3 was fine.

Sammy, if you are anywhere near Kew, there is a lovely children's shoe shop just near Kew Gardens station. They have plenty of the swirly glittery stuff but also a lot of genuinely smart pretty plain things that I would happily wear myself.

Sammy74 · 23/05/2010 21:53

Horton, yep I am in Chiswick - do you know the name of the shop?

Thanks Ewe, will have a search - have never heard of them before.

These are nice

tethersend · 23/05/2010 22:01

or soft sole

mtor · 23/05/2010 22:13

Have you been to Westfields? There is Russell and Bromley childrens shop there which stocks many many makes. It was the only place I could find a first pair of shoes that fitted. The fitters also seem well trained.

letsblowthistacostand · 23/05/2010 22:38

Bentalls in Kingston has a great childrens shoe dept, lots of makes and fitters are good. Johnsons in New Malden also v good, they are excellent at finding shoes to fit DD1's wonky little feet.

mejon · 23/05/2010 22:46

Have a look on Amazon for Baby Op shoes - there are lots of white (plain and not so plain) sandals starting at size 2.
