Im a 14 with a large bust. Im going on a cruise and there is a black tie night. Im not sure how formal this will be but will expect I will have to wear a nice frock. Someone directed me to a site earlier and, with the 20 percent off, I can stretch to one or two dresses. They have to be dresses I can wear for other holidays. I dont usually do formal. Please just someone pick one for me!!

samsonara · 21/05/2010 19:25

lucky you that sounds lovely, I like this page lots of gorgeous dresses I'd have a hard job choosing , I think I'd choose these for dresses if I wanted to wear them lots of different places

grey white Jessie print or the
blue Jessie print is a dress that I think can be worn as an everyday dress or dressed up
I also like this one

purple because again I think you could even wear it in the winter with boots

samsonara · 21/05/2010 19:26

oh I do love the rene too, that is a gorgeous dress

wineismysaviour · 21/05/2010 19:26

rene or meg

AndieWalsh · 21/05/2010 19:27

If you are large busted, go for one of the v-necks. Scoop necks and high necks just make you look bosomy and matronly

kittya · 21/05/2010 19:28

both very similiar. I havent worn a maxi dress this time around, Im only 5ft6. I love it but it looks pretty low to me. There are some really lovely dresses. I need a glass of wine, 8pm is my time, and then I will decide!

kittya · 21/05/2010 19:32

Im going towards Rene as well, simply because I have good ankles if nothing else!!! is it formal enough for a black tie do? you would wear it with gold sandles?

wineismysaviour · 21/05/2010 19:42

7.34pm and not opened the wine yet????

kittya · 21/05/2010 19:48

Oh, I cant. Its completely psychological I know but, 8pm is my time and it will be finished by about 11. Its Friday, thats my excuse. Although I wont be fitting into any of these dresses if I carry on like this!!! I do love a Rose though!

I'm with the warrioress - go for the twist front dress in red
I wore it last week for a party and got nothing but compliments - easy to dress up or down and a really stiking red.
Am that I missed out on the 20% too
