Talk to me about Liz Earle skincare

I'm a bit of a clinique girl and have been for a few years. I have problem skin and use the Acne care range and also have oily skin.

I have been wondering if my skin could use a change. I have tried Clarins but didn't rate it that much (love the foaming face wash though).

So tell me about your experiences and if you think it would be worth getting some samples from the website?

I had crappy skin for years and years- then I tried Vichy and found it really good and I haven't looked back. THe good thing is it's not too expensive.....

I've tried Clinique so many times, as well as every other product you can buy. I have problem skin. Greasy, dry, sensitive, pigmentation. Oh the joy! However it's been so much clearer since I started using Dermalogica. You can get a trial kit on the internet quite cheap so that you can have a try. Go on Beautyflash.com as that's the cheapest place I can find for Derma stuff. I use the Special Cleansing Gel and the daily microfoliant. I also gave myself a treat and had a course of microdermabrasion which smoothed out my skin a bit. I have heard good reports about Liz Earle though.

Love cleanse and polish. The moisturiser is nice but unremarkable (can't remember name) and the roll-on facial oil is so-so.

Much prefer dermalogica. I always get compliments when using Dermalogica.

I like the Cleanse and Polish but couldn't get on with the moisturiser.

I use the whole Liz Earle routine - Cleanse and polish, Toner, and moisturiser. I've always had what I thought was oily skin - constantly getting breakouts (horrible spots!), and shiny face! My sister, who is fanatical about Liz Earle, recommended that I use the normal/ combination moisturiser - which I thought was madness!! Strangely, though, it seems to be working - I hardly ever get spots now! I've been using the whole shebang since Christmas, and I'm really pleased with it!
They do trail sizes of all their range - why not give it a go? There is an oily skin moisturiser as well, by the way.

I have oily skin and use LE products.
My skin i better than it has ever been.

MooMinCow · 21/05/2010 07:54

I've been using for 5 years on and off but I always return back to the range - doesn't dry the skin out, no mineral oils etc. The cleanse and polish is the best cleanser I have ever used.

I would suggest you buy a travel kit from QVC (you can try for a month and return for a refund if it doesn't suit you, so all you lose is P & P)
