Are flip flops OK on a night out?

Nothing fancy, just pubs and clubs? I have a pair I love, cream coloured and jewelled and was thinking of wearing them with a grey sleeveless top and dark skinny jeans on Saturday night, mainly because I have stuck with opaques and heels for a while now and fancy a change, and want to spare my poor feet. I wear them with my skinnies in the day, but is it a bit too scruffy going out? And if not, what shoes are best with skinnies? I can't help thinking heels just look odd with them.

yes with jeans as you'll hardly see them but not if you go anywhere trendy as they're really day wear.

I often take some in my bag for later in the evening. I would wear gladiators on a night out and they're not a million miles from flip flops so I reckon they would be ok depending on the type of place you're going.

Get ballet pumps if you want flats + skinnies. I would never wear flip flops because of broken glass/puke/people spilling/mad dancing and stepping on toes.
