Johnsons Holiday Skin with Firming Lotion

Has anyone used this?

I've used the normal Johnsons Holiday Skin before and always had great results but this time (using the one with Firming Lotion) the results are...well, basically, shite.

Its gone really patchy, blotchy and yellowy/orange. It just doesn't seem to absorb properly to start with either.

Admittedly it was from the £ shop so maybe that's why ie. they decided it was rubbish so sold the batch off to £land??

Bump for the evening crowd.

Anyone else blotchy and orange?

I used it this very morning and (after a swift perusal) do not appear any blotchier or oranger than usual. In fact, I look quite glowy....

Perhaps a swift with an axfoliating brush befire next application?

NorbertDentressangle · 20/05/2010 20:20

I did exfoliate.

In fact I did everything the same as I did last year but it just hasn't worked as well.

Oh well -I've gone for the 'kill or cure' approach and slapped a bit more on in the hope it will even it out a bit .

Thanks for replying and giving me some hope!

Yeah, that happened to me too - really orange and blotchy. Not a good look.

I got mine from a discount shop too.

HeywoodJablome · 20/05/2010 21:32

Mine smells a bit funny.

Also from the £ shop.

NorbertDentressangle · 20/05/2010 21:36

aaaah so my theory about it being a little bit crap, hence ending up in the £ shop, sounds plausible then

Always worried about how long products have been hanging about for when buying from £shop as beauty products do deteriorate.

NorbertDentressangle · 21/05/2010 09:22

lol -looking at all the orangey-yellowy patchy legs in the playground this morning mine don't actually look that bad!

A bit of sunshine brings them all out -blotchy or not!
