Tinted moisturiser ok for oily skin?

My skin tends to be quite oily in the summer and I've been trying out some tinted moisturisers as an alternative to my normal foundation and I find that it looks very shiny when I put it on and I have to use power too.

Is this normal? Or does it not suit my skin?

I tend to be quite warm in the mornings (when I put it on due to hair drying) and over heat easily in the summer.

I want something that will give me a little bit of coverage without sliding off my face.

I have very oily skin use powder over the top. Just a very light dusting.

Nivea do a tinted moisturiser that is closer to foundation texture and was more mat, but it has no SPF and both shades were too dark or me in any case.

I have very oily skin, and most foundation and tinted moisturiser just slides off my face.

I've been using the MAC spf 50 primer with the MAC tinted moisturiser and it's pretty good. Get a bit shiney after a while, but blot with paper or a dusting of powder.

I also quite like the MAC face and body foundation. It's very light and sheer, but dries matte and stays put.
